Summary
The Wilson Pro Perforated Overgrip is the perforated version of the basic Pro Overgrip model. It features the same ultra-thin and high-stretch material, but with small holes punched throughout it, hence the “perforated” name. Thanks to this design, it offers better moisture absorption and dries faster. I’ve used this grip for many years and can personally vouch for its performance.
The grip’s length is good, making it suitable for larger grip sizes, and the pre-cut end with glue strip makes it easy to apply.
The perforated texture increases tackiness, especially during long playing sessions, but it slightly reduces overall durability. In my experience, the grip lasts around 6 to 8 hours of play, though after the first session, the edges can start to feel a bit sharper.
Overall, the Pro Perforated Overgrip provides a good balance of tackiness, durability, and moisture control. However, the perforated surface slightly reduces its durability compared to the standard Pro Overgrip.

The Pro Perforated Overgrip offers medium-high tackiness, which I find just right. It sticks well to the palm without being overly sticky, allowing easy grip changes. Thanks to its perforated design, the grip feels comfortable and stays dry even during longer playing sessions and humid conditions.
Durability: 8.5/10 – Good
In my experience, the Wilson Pro Perforated Overgrip performed well for about 6–8 hours without significant tearing. However, because of its perforated surface, the edges tend to wear faster and can feel sharp after several hours of play.
Moisture Control: 9/10 – Great
Thanks to the grip’s perforated surface, it doesn’t collect much moisture on the surface. Even in longer playing sessions, the grip feels rather dry and tacky.

The grip length is good, making it suitable for larger grip sizes. It requires minimal stretching to fully cover the handle.
Ease of Application: 9/10 – Great
The other end of the grip is precut and comes with an integrated glue strip, making application really easy. Compared to grips without precutting or adhesive strips, this saves a lot of time and makes it beginner-friendly.
