The K-Swiss Women’s Hypercourt Express 2 tennis shoes surprised me, especially with their comfort. From the very first sessions the shoe felt soft and well-fitting, and it didn’t need a long break-in period.
On court, the shoe felt stable even during quick changes of direction. That said, they didn’t feel like the lightest shoes out there, and they don’t breathe all that well.
Overall, I really liked the Hypercourt Express 2. I’d choose them especially when comfort, good cushioning and sufficient support are the most important features.

● A roomy tennis shoe that stayed comfortable even during longer matches.
● Good cushioning throughout the whole foot.
● A stable build that helps with quick lateral movements.
● Good grip on court.
● A fit that suits wider feet compared to many narrower tennis shoes.
My first impression of the shoes was that they’re well made. The materials felt solid, but the shoe wasn’t overly stiff at the same time. I especially liked that the shoe kept a supportive feel without becoming uncomfortable. The shoes look sharp without being too flashy. Of course, dirt and wear show up fairly easily on the white colorway.
Comfort was the best feature of these shoes for me. They felt soft right from the start, and I didn’t have to wear them long before they started to feel like my own.
The cushioning in the sole also felt good. It reduced the impact you feel when playing on hard courts, but the shoe still didn’t feel too soft or unstable.
I found the shoes quite stable, especially in lateral movements. When I had to change direction quickly, my foot stayed well in place inside the shoe, and the shoe didn’t flex too much.
In my opinion, the shoes performed well in quick movements. The outsole felt grippy and gave me good confidence, especially when moving side to side.
However, the shoe doesn’t feel quite as light as my most agile tennis shoes. The Hypercourt Express 2 feels more like a stable, comfortable all-round shoe than a competition shoe built for extremely fast movement.
Weight-wise, the shoe felt about right to me. It wasn’t the lightest tennis shoe, but I didn’t feel it got in the way of my game. In return, I got good cushioning and a supportive build. The fit was good, and there’s quite a lot of room in the forefoot. The model may be a bit wider than usual. I was able to adjust the fit fairly well with the laces.
I think the Hypercourt Express 2 is a good investment if you’re looking for a tennis shoe that combines comfort, support and good grip.
In my view, the shoe’s biggest strength is its versatility. It isn’t designed around just one feature but works well in all kinds of game situations. I’d recommend these shoes to players who above all want a comfortable, reliable shoe that lets them focus on their game. If you’re looking for the most breathable or lightest shoe possible, though, I’d go for something else.
