They are crafted with the highest-quality materials compared to other Asics tennis shoes. Due to the high-quality materials, they are also the most expensive model in the series. Considering the high price, they still offer great value for money.
Because of the extra support, the shoes are a bit stiff and on the heavier side, offering less comfort compared to other Asics models. For this reason, they are best suited for advanced players seeking extra support and durability.

Asics Gel-Resolution X

Asics Gel-Resolution X is the latest 2025 model in Asics’ Gel-Resolution series. This shoe is specifically designed for players who value stability and good support. Made from durable and high-quality materials, it is well-suited for demanding use. It is the heaviest Asics tennis shoe model at the moment weighing 16.1 ounces (456 grams).
Compared to other Asics models, the Gel-Resolutions rank as the second highest in quality and support, just below the Court FF 3 Novak. While they may not have the same level of finish as the Court FF 3 Novak, the Gel-Resolutions provide better quality and comfort for the price.
Unlike its predecessor, the Gel-Resolution 9, the X-model is designed for a softer and more cushioned playing experience. The X-model has a wider toe box and a more elevated heel, making it a completely different model compared to the 9th-generation model.
The Gel-Resolution was previously known for its sturdy support and down-to-the-court feeling. However, with the introduction of the new X-model, it has transitioned to a softer and more cushioned design making it more player-friendly.

Compared to other Asics models, the Gel-Resolutions rank as the second highest in quality and support, just below the Court FF 3 Novak. While they may not have the same level of finish as the Court FF 3 Novak, the Gel-Resolutions provide better quality and comfort for the price.
Compared to the newer X-model, the Gel-Resolution 9 offers more support and a sharper feel on the court. Weighing 13.8 ounces, it’s 2.3 ounces lighter than the X-model, making it more agile. However, compared to the X-model, it has slightly less cushioning and padding, which can make it feel stiffer and rougher for some players.
I have used this Gel-Resolution series for years and, they have been the best tennis shoes for me so far.

The Solution Speed FF 3 shoes are designed with lightweight and flexible materials, providing players with excellent agility compared to other Asics models. Despite their lightweight, they still offer a surprisingly high level of comfort and don’t feel too harsh on the feet. Thanks to the lightweight materials, they also provide very good breathability.
The only drawbacks of the Solution Speed FF 3 shoes are their mediocre materials and light support. These factors make the shoes slightly less durable and supportive compared to top-tier Asics models like the Court FF or Gel-Resolution. However, aside from that, the Solution Speed FF 3 offers great value for the money.
