SUMMARY

The ASICS Court FF 3 tennis shoes felt supportive as soon as I put them on. The shoes were somewhat difficult to put on due to the sewn-in tongue. Although the shoes are sturdy, they still felt light enough. They also do not pinch or cause rubbing in any area. I especially liked the amount of support around the ankle.

The shoes do not cause discomfort even during long playing sessions, and during play they feel supportive, breathable, and agile.

I recommend the new ASICS Court FF 3 model to players who are looking for a supportive tennis shoe. The materials feel high quality overall. While the sewn-in tongue certainly adds support, it makes putting the shoe on more difficult and reduces the model’s suitability for some players.

Special Features

  • TWISTRUSS technology, which helps to move faster without compromising support.
  • MONO-SOCK upper, for added comfort, fit and stability.

Material Quality 9/10

The ASICS Court FF 3 tennis shoes are made from high-quality materials. The shoes are supportive and sturdy, yet remain flexible during play. The inner lining is made of very soft material, and there is strong support around the ankle. Although the model focuses on supportive materials, I do not feel that the shoes lack breathability in any way.

Comfort 9/10

The interior of the ASICS Court FF 3 tennis shoes is soft yet firm. The shoes are supportive while still flexing comfortably during play. They perform well during longer playing sessions, and I do not experience any rubbing. There is sufficient room for the toes, and even during quick stops there is no discomfort.

Support And Stability 10/10

The shoes provide good support for lateral movements, and the ankle area feels well supported. The arch support is appropriate and does not feel restrictive. The solid support under the foot is especially beneficial during longer playing sessions.

Agility and Grip 9/10

Although the shoes are sturdy and supportive, I still find them to be agile. They feel fast and flexible during play, allowing me to change direction easily. The outsole is thick and provides good traction on hard courts, even during long-term use.

Weight and Fit 9/10

The ASICS Court FF 3 tennis shoes weigh approximately 11.4 oz (324 g), making them relatively heavy. The shoes are true to size, but the sewn-in tongue can cause some fit issues. They are neither particularly narrow nor wide. Fit can only be adjusted with the laces, which stay securely tied during play. The tongue itself cannot be adjusted.

Value For Money 8/10

The ASICS Court FF 3 tennis shoes cost around 170 dollars (190 euros). In my opinion, they offer excellent value for money if you are looking for durable tennis shoes. Considering the price, it is still a pity that the tongue cannot be adjusted. Overall, the shoes are a great choice for an active player who wants support and power on the court.
